The Technology
Unlike traditional sanitisers that kill viruses and bacteria by poison or high alcohol content, Virus Guard uses a sanitiser that is a food safe, water-based surface sanitiser, applied as a mist or spray, then allowed to dry. Routine cleaning can continue and does not disrupt the Sanitiser molecule or its anti-microbial activity. The molecules contained within the product are antimicrobial, silane based polymers that covalently bond to the surface forming a barrier of positively charged microscopic pins. The positively charged microscopic pins attract and pierce negatively charged pathogens, rupturing the cell walls, and destroying them.
Lab tests show that the Microbe we at Virus Guard use is effective against viruses and 99.99% of bacteria and that it has an ongoing effect for up to 30 days!! Providing lasting protection for surfaces and helping to prevent infection.
Electrostatic Spraying
Electrostatics is the process of adding an electrical charge to the liquid droplets when they are sprayed what helps create a 360 coating; getting to all those areas naturally you wouldn’t be able to.
Electrostatic spraying allows us to coat surfaces quickly and evenly with this formula. The charged disinfectant particles leaving the sprayer repel each other, so that they keep an even distance from each other, but they are also attracted to the surfaces to be treated. This ensures that the particles cover the surface, even the difficult to reach areas, ensuring complete sanitisation.
Touch-Less Decontamination System
With the application of our eco-friendly solution through the electrostatic sprayer, there is no need to touch/wipe the surface(s). This means equipment and possessions do not need to be touched during our process.
NO CROSS-CONTAMINATION
Cross contamination is virtually reduced to nil due to the touch-less aspect of our system. Surfaces will not be touched by cloths or human hands, therefore wont be moving bacteria or viruses from one place to another.
